Add any app to AirLauncher via Shortcuts

Unfortunately not all apps support launch URLs, but there is a workaround to launch into any app. There are currently a small drawback - this will open the shortcuts app first, but unfortunately there is no way around this at the moment.

  1. Open Shortcuts on Apple Vision Pro
  2. Tap + to create a new shortcut
  3. In the search bar, find “Open App” and tap on it to add it to your shortcut
  4. Tap on the “App” variable to bring up the app selector, and choose the app you wish to open
  5. Tap the menu button in the top left corner, then tap on Rename
  6. Name your shortcut something simple, with no spaces in the name
  7. Open AirLauncher and add a new launch item
  8. In the URL field, type this, replacing YourShortcutName with the exact name you typed in the previous step, including the same capitalization: shortcuts://run-shortcut?name=YourShortcutName
  9. Choose an icon and add a name to your AirLauncher item and save
  10. Your app shortcut should now be functional
